FitSkills21 is an evidence-based physical activity program for people with Down syndrome. In this program, a person with Down syndrome will be matched with a volunteer partner. The program runs throughout the term where participants go to the gym together with their volunteer partner once a week followed by a social meal with other participants and volunteers. The workouts are tailored by a physiotherapist with regular check ins.
