Overview
Prepared for people who work in volunteer organisations, this workshop explores the benefits of inclusive and diverse workplaces and introduces the concept of Intersectionality. We examine power and social structures and explore multiple Intersectional considerations for workplaces including – Aboriginality; ability; gender; ethnicity, sexual orientation and regional/rural experiences.

Learning Outcomes
Increased understanding of Intersectionality. Increased confidence to apply Intersectional frameworks and thinking to your work. Equipped with knowledge, tools and resources to support the implementation of gender equality.
Format A two-hour interactive online workshop with activities, group discussion, and short break in the middle.
