Join us on Saturday 21st October for a celebration of National Water Week at the Bendigo Library. There is something for everyone!
Join us any time from 10am to 1pm
What’s happening on the day?
- A Welcome to Country from Djaara Traditional Owner, Jason Kerr at 10.00am
- A Wonderful Water story time at 10.30am. Learn all about water through stories, songs and demonstrations.
- Find out how to be a River Detective or a Water Watcher with the North Central Catchment Management Authority (NCCMA).
- Learn about what gatjin (water) means to the Dja Dja Wurrung, who have cared for djandak over many thousands of years.
- Play the BIG Coliban Water Fountains and Drains board game outside.
- Learn about the Bendigo Creek Project with City of Greater Bendigo Environment staff.
- Plus heaps of giveaways and other water inspired activities.
