A welcoming, family-friendly cricket club for men, women and juniors at Lake Weeroona in Bendigo.
We are based at Lake Weeroona and have more than 100 playing members. There are teams for senior men and women of all ages and abilities, plus junior teams for boys and girls aged 8-16. We also run a Cricket Blast program for children aged under 8 to learn and have fun.
Our teams play in the Bendigo District Cricket Association in central Victoria.
We are an incorporated, not-for-profit club, established in 1928 as the Sandhurst Footballers Cricket Club.
We have a long history of success in senior cricket, having claimed men's first XI premierships in 1941-42, 1957-58, 1961-62, 1962-63, 1963-64, 1965-66, 1966-67, 1969-70, 1977-78, 1978-79 and most recently in 2017-18.
Our first XI women's team claimed its maiden premiership in 2021-22, in just its second season in the competition.
During the 2000s we relocated from the Queen Elizabeth Oval to the beautiful Weeroona Oval, where we continue to develop our playing and social facilities.
We are a Good Sports club, members of Sports Focus, and committed to Cricket Australia's Safeguarding Children and Young People policy.
