We are an enthusiastic group of native plant lovers in Heathcote our aim is to promote growing Australian plants in home gardens and public places.

About Us

We meet every 2nd Tuesday of the month at Senior Citz Hall in Heathcote at 7pm.

Guest speakers every month, excursions, Open Gardens and an annual Native Plant and flower show.

We are presently in the process of establishing a Botanical Gardens here in Heathcote and 

Our Aim is to:

  • Encourage the nursery industry to propagate and supply Australian plants
  • Improve Australian plants as garden subjects
  • Encourage the recognition and development of distinctive landscape styles and forms using Australian plants
  • Encourage and facilitate the conservation and study of Australian plants and their habitats
  • Monitor and encourage the strengthening of the laws for preservation of flora
