Carers Victoria is the peak body representing all unpaid carers in Victoria, championing all carers across Victorian communities.
About Us
Carers Victoria is the statewide voice for family carers, representing and providing support to carers in Victoria.
We work collaboratively with Carers Australia and the other State and Territory based Carer Associations to represent and advocate and provide carer services on behalf of carers throughout Australia.
Our core work includes:
- Being the 'voice' of carers
- Raising awareness of carers and caring in our communities
- Being the place to go for all carers and for information about carers
- Providing effective, quality services and programs to support the needs of carers and the people they care for
- Create innovative services and products to meet the needs and service gaps for carers and the people they care for
- Working to represent all carers, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander carers, carers from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse backgrounds, and LGBTIQA+ carers
- Research, policy development and effective advocacy.
