National Water Week Celebration

Join us on Saturday 21st October for a celebration of National Water Week at the Bendigo Library. There is something for everyone!

What’s happening on the day?

• A Welcome to Country from Djaara Traditional Owner, Jason Kerr at 10.00am
• A Wonderful Water story time at 10.30am. Learn all about water through stories, songs and demonstrations.  
• Find out how to be a River Detective or a Water Watcher with the North Central Catchment Management Authority (NCCMA).
• Learn about what gatjin (water) means to the Dja Dja Wurrung, who have cared for djandak over many thousands of years.
• Play the BIG Coliban Water Fountains and Drains board game outside.
• Learn about the Bendigo Creek Project with City of Greater Bendigo Environment staff.
• Plus heaps of giveaways and other water inspired activities.
