Guide Dogs provides vital support for Victorians with low vision or blindness. With a Bendigo office, we are proud to be a part of this community.

About Us

At Guide Dogs, we provide vital support for Victorians with low vision or blindness. We support people to lead independent lives and help them learn the tools to achieve their goals. Our services have grown far beyond just the dogs themselves to include a wide range of community initiatives, and training and education programs.

We opened our Bendigo office in May 2019 but have been serving the Bendigo community and surrounding regions for many years. Our service centre right in the heart of town, ensures that we can offer an even more responsive and localised services to our clients, and connect with other local providers.

If you have vision loss, and are looking for a personally tailored service delivered with care, Guide Dogs offers a range of services to children and adults. This includes orthoptics, occupational therapy, assistive technology, orientation and mobility, support for carers and families, and of course Guide Dog mobility. Importantly, we will also have assistive technology options onsite to try and to purchase.

Our doors are open to peer support groups in the low vision community, and we welcome you to use our meeting spaces for your own gatherings!

As a registered NDIS Provider, Guide Dogs can also support you in preplanning or plan renewal assistance at no cost.
