Our Junior Roller Derby Day will include demonstration games by existing skaters, and a Come and Try event for new members
About Event
Following on from the success of the 2022 Junior Roller Derby Day, Dragon City Roller Derby are proud to do it all again on Saturday the 9th of September, 2023.
The Junior Roller Derby Day is an interclub scrimmage and 'Come and Try' Day for all levels of skaters, featuring the following demonstration games:
12pm: Land Derby (off-skates) - all levels
1pm: 1pm Low Contact scrim (L1+)
2pm: Mod Contact scrim. (L2)
Following the demonstration games, at 3:30pm there will be a Junior 'Come and Try Roller Skating' for potential new members (ages 8 - 17). Skaters can be provided with skates and safety gear, or can bring their own, and will be supported by our accredited skating coaches.
