About Event

Full Event Description – Autumn Festival 2026

The 2026 Maiden Gully Autumn Festival is a vibrant, family‑friendly celebration bringing together local food, culture, creativity, and community spirit for a spectacular day at Solterra on Sunday 19 April. With more than 38 confirmed stall sites, the festival showcases an exciting mix of food vendors, artisan makers, community groups, performers, early learning centres, and civic organisations.

Visitors can enjoy delicious offerings from favourites such as OMG Decadent Donuts, Wheelie Bean Coffee, Twista Potatoes, Sundaez N Chill, Shakin Dawgs, Little Sangria, Sugar Rhythm, Min Min Kitchen, Lions Club, and Mixer Magic, with additional food trucks still to be confirmed.

A diverse range of stallholders will feature across the festival grounds, including Rustic Metal & Hanging Garden Art, Julie Kala Arts, Flexi Friends 3D Printing, ARTTOO Pty Ltd, Friend Shaped, Inglewood Wildflowers, Bendigo Fine Foods, Pickled by Helen, Collins Honey, Squirrel Gully Saffron, Jacaitams Crafts, and many more local creatives and producers.

Community engagement is at the heart of the festival, with participation from AFL Victoria, local early learning centres including Jenny’s ELC, Village Early Learning, and Shine Bright, and interest groups such as the Quilters Guild and Marong Men’s Shed/Bendigo Women’s Shed. Children can enjoy dedicated activities including face painting and Messy Minis.

The entertainment program features performances by Maiden Gully Primary School, the Bendigo & District Concert Band, Lion Dancers, and Min & Sean, bringing music, culture, and colour to the main stage throughout the day.

Federal and State parliamentarians, along with City of Greater Bendigo councillors, will be in attendance to meet residents, celebrate community diversity, and support this much‑loved local event.

Essential services and partners—including St John Ambulance, and Maiden Gully CFA—will support the safe and smooth delivery of the festival.

The Autumn Festival offers a rare large‑scale gathering opportunity in a rapidly growing suburb, providing a welcoming, inclusive, and accessible event that strengthens community pride, supports local businesses, and brings people of all ages together for a memorable day.
