Come along to help us continue the story with more groundstorey species in Huntly.

About Event

We'll be adding species to the Huntly Lions Park and adjacent Huntly Gardens Natural Reserve.

Lions Park: it is important to us to add native vegetation indigenous to Huntly as this is a popular stop off point for travellers and a great way to showcase the plants of our area.
Huntly Gardens Natural Reserve: We are slowly enhancing the habitat in this very valuable piece of remnant native vegetation that is largely unknown by the public but has huge potential as a lovely piece of green space.

Both sites can be accessed from carparks either side of Precision Control Australia on the Midland Highway.

All equipment provided, toilets available, BBQ to enjoy and planting holes pre-drilled for easy planting.

As we are planting thick swathes of native grasses you might like to bring something to kneel on as most of the planting time will be spent on the ground.
