The Eaglehawk Community House (ECH) is a safe, welcoming place for all citizens to come and enjoy fun activities, make new friends, relax in our gardens or seek emergency support.

About Us

For more than 30 years the Eaglehawk Community House has supported our citizens, locally and within Greater Bendigo.

We offer low cost or no cost activities where we can including Tai Chi, playgroups, Community meals, learn basic computers, learn to cook classes, meditation, yoga, women's & men's activities and now we produce our own Eaglehawk Magazine providing information on the local essential support and services available in our area and beyond.  We welcome new volunteers to assist with our inhouse activities.

We also provide emergency assistance and support to those needing a helping hand including food relief and personal product hampers.

The Eaglehawk Community House has a 'whole of Community' approach and welcomes all ages, all abilities, all religions and all cultures.  We are a disability friendly venue providing special access to those with limited mobility.

In 2021, we will be opening our Community Cafe welcoming more visitors to come and enjoy our lovely surroundings.  This will provide further opportunities for training in retail, hospitality and barista.  These courses will be free of charge.  We also have beautiful gardens currently being developed to provide social enterprise opportunities.

We are major partners delivering the Eaglehawk Children’s Festival and the Dahlia & Arts Festival.
