Sri Lankan Traditional Poson Free Food Event 2026
Join us for the 2nd Annual Sri Lankan Traditional Poson Free Food Event, proudly organized by the Piece of Ceylon in Bendigo Sri Lankan Community.
Celebrate the Sri Lankan tradition of Dansala through free food, cultural hospitality, and community spirit. Enjoy traditional roast bread served with chicken curry, dhal curry, caramelized onions, and coconut sambal, along with Ceylon tea and sweet buns.
The event will also feature free face painting for children and a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere for people of all backgrounds.

Time: From 3:30 PM onwards
Venue: East Bendigo Community Hall
Following the success of last year's event, which attracted approximately 700 attendees, we are expecting between 700 and 1000 guests this year.
