What we do

Community Care Services can support you to tailor care and services you need, including:

• Assistance with bathing, toileting, dressing and undressing
• Assistance with laundry, house cleaning, gardening
• Assistance with shopping, support to attend social activities and appointments
• Equipment to assist with mobility
• Access to nursing, allied health services

Who we care for

• People with assigned Home Care Packages (HCPs) through My Aged Care
• Home and Community Care Program for Younger People (HACC PYP) services (people aged under 65 years or 50 years and under for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people) (BENDIGO AREA ONLY)

We deliver coordination of support services to National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants.

We provide a direct community care worker program to support our HCP and HACC PYP consumers in some areas.

Our service is available to people living in the local government areas of:

• Greater Bendigo
• Buloke
• Campaspe
• Central Goldfields
• Gannawarra
• Loddon
• Macedon Ranges
• Mount Alexander
• Swan Hill
• Mildura.

What does respite mean?

Taking a break from your caring duties. It is intended to relieve the pressure of caring, providing carers with time to themselves.
Respite happens when someone else takes over the caring role for a short period of time.
