About Event

DUMAWUL proudly invites you to celebrate Culture and connect with Djaara People and Country at the Malamiya Mang 2026. This unique program of events, of Cultural 'happenings', celebrates the deep connection between Dja Dja Wurrung Country and People (the first nations traditional owners or our regions), from the past, to the here and now.

'Malamiya' means 'long ago' and 'Mang' means 'now' in Djali (Dja Dja Wurrung language). Our program features exhibitions, workshops, tours and ceremony, and all people are welcome to come together in the spirit of sharing, learning and celebrating together.

  • Explore Djaara arts, crafts and artefacts
  • Join Djaara Cultural Arts Workshops & Tours
  • Experience Ceremony, story telling and connection
  • Join in the Family Day Celebration, and more!

See program website for more information and for bookings: MalamiyaMang.com.au
