On a mission to make sure no Australian goes through a tough time alone.
Gather My Crew is an Australian charity that provides free tools, education and guidance to help people organise practical help within their own community when someone is doing it tough.
When someone is going through illness, injury, grief, a new baby, or caring responsibilities, people often say, “Let me know how I can help.” But knowing what to ask for, or how to coordinate help, can feel overwhelming.
That’s where we come in.
Our free app and practical resources help turn good intentions into real, organised support. Things like lifts to appointments, meals, school pick-ups, mowing the lawn, and everyday help can be shared across a group, so no one person carries it all. It also removes the awkwardness of asking for help, making it easier for people to say what they need and for others to step in.
Alongside the app, we share practical guidance that helps carers feel more supported and better equipped to navigate the day-to-day realities of caring.
We also have a Community Engagement and Education Officer based in Bendigo - Kathleen Fair - who connects with local services and community groups to raise awareness of Gather My Crew and how it can support people during challenging times. Reach out to find out more, or to arrange a session to speak with your employees or community about how Gather My Crew can help.
