Youth Homelessness is a cause close to our hearts at Get Psych'd.
This year we are participating in the Victorian Homelessness Network (VHN) Houses at Parliament Campaign, to raise awareness in our local community about the urgent need for more social and public housing in Victoria.
The VHN aim to fold 60,000 origami houses - representing the number of additional social homes needed to meet the current need in Victoria - and to display them leading up to and during Homelessness Week (4-10 August 2025) to highlight the urgent need for Governments to fix the housing crisis and end homelessness.
Please join us on Friday 11 July 2025 between 3:30 and 5:00 PM for our Origami Folding Party!
No RSVP required, just drop in and fold an origami house (or two, or three...). All materials supplied. Just bring your creative self!
It's in the school holidays, so get the kids out of the house and bring them along. It's a great way to spend a cold, wintery afternoon, having some fun and supporting a meaningful cause.
The origami houses we fold during the party will be displayed at Get Psych'd leading up to and during Homelessness Week (4-10 August 2025).
