This course helps people with intellectual disabilities develop through practical, relevant learning activities that build confidence and independence

About Event

This 10 weeks course supports individual with an intellectual disability to build confidence, independence and everyday functional skills through hand-on meaningful learning activities. Session are designed using an inclusive, learner centred, learning by doing approach.

  • Goal Setting, Planning & Time Management
  • Making decisions and choices in scheduling
  • Teamwork & Social Interaction
  • Money Handling & Everyday Numeracy
  • Basic Technology Skills
  • Health, Excercise & Nutrition
  • Speaking & Building confidence
