Our Psychosocial supports are programs and activities which are designed to support people with mental illness and associated psychosocial disability

About Us

Our Bendigo team work with individuals whose psychosocial functioning is significantly affected by mental illness. This may be in partnership with their family and carers where appropriate.

We provide a wide range of non-clinical community-based support with the aim of assisting people with:

  • living independently
  • improving education skills
  • developing work goals
  • building family relationships
  • building broader life skills including resilience and confidence
How to access support

Eligibility requirements to access Psychosocial Recovery Services (PRS) include:

  • living with mental illness which has a significant impact on psychosocial functioning
  • being aged 16 years and over
  • having needs that are responsive to low intensity support and con be appropriately met within 3 to 12 months
  • are not supported through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
Locations we service

Stride services are available in Campaspe, Greater Bendigo, Loddon, Mount Alexander and Macedon Ranges.
