The Bendigo Military Museum is a treasured cultural institution in the heart of Bendigo. This iconic building honours and commemorates the sacrifices of local veterans, preserves the history of our armed forces, and educates the public about Australia's military history. Our museum houses a vast collection of artifacts, including uniforms, medals, photographs, weapons and documents from various conflicts.

Volunteer Opportunities:

We are currently seeking volunteers who are passionate about history, military heritage, and community engagement. Volunteers will have the opportunity to be involved in:

Museum Guides: Share your knowledge and enthusiasm with visitors by providing guided tours of the museum, sharing stories about the exhibits, and answering questions.

Visitor Services: Greet visitors and provide information about the museum's offerings while supporting front of house staff.

Event Support: Assist with the planning and support of special events, workshops, and educational programs.

No prior experience or knowledge is required for these roles – just a willingness to learn and to support your community.
