The Soroptimist International Victoria Foundation (SIVF) is a $5 million fund dedicated to advancing the lives of women and girls. Established in Victoria, Australia, it provides grants to grassroots organizations focused on education pathways, mental health, community building, and protecting vulnerable women and children.

Soroptimist International Australia has 55 clubs Australia wide with nearly 1000 members.  SI Australia is part of a global organisation.  This year Si Australia is given priority to informing and advocating for Endometriosis treatment for Women.  Information sessions are available online.

This year SI members were invited to the Regional conference of SI South East Asia Pacific Federation in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia where we discussed the various projects clubs had been involved in over the year.  In 2027 our international convention will take place from September 29 to October 1, 2027, in Prague, Czech Republic. The global gathering will be hosted at the Prague Congress Centre, focusing on the theme: Building Bridges for the Health, Rights and Resilience of All Women and Girls.

The global event is held every four years and brings together over 1,000 members representing the organization's five federations. The 2027 programming will focus on three core areas:

  • Women’s and Girls’ Health and Wellbeing: Exploring physical, mental, and emotional health across the lifespan.
  • Women’s and Girls’ Rights and Safety: Focusing on dignity, legal protections, and safety.
  • Resilience for the Future: Examining the environmental, social, and economic realities impacting women and girls. [1]
