We aim to provide performance opportunities for many singers, musicians and dancers to go on and achieve outstanding success within the industry.
About Us
Our society is currently in it's 100th year of running Music and Dance competitions annually between the months of May – August in Bendigo. This historical occasion shows the dedication to culture and arts many have passed on and the current committee are proud to embrace. Our mission statement "Excellence through performance" guides our intention to create opportunities for musicians, vocalists and dancers to achieve their performance dreams in a constructive, supportive and professional setting. We attract many local competitors and those from interstate.
The small committee are always keen to here from prospective members, people with an interest in the performing arts and volunteers to assist running the Annual Eisteddfod.
Bendigo Competitions relies heavily on volunteer support, so we would love for you to become involved. A current Working with Children Check is required.
The society is a member of the Association of Eisteddfod Societies of Australia.
